Climate change can be a big thing to humans, but more or less, animals’ homes are being affected more than ours because they are mostly outside .
Climate change is always bad, but it is way worse for animals because the animals’ homes are in the wild and mainly in the open. If the weather changes they don’t know where to go. The things that animals have to deal with an addition to increasing global temperatures, the impacts of climate change include extreme weather events such as drought, hurricanes, and rising sea levels.
“I think that it’s taking away a lot of the animals’ homes and that’s affecting them by not having a palace for them to stay in while the weather gets bad, eighth grader Briana Goodwin said. “Their families are also not protected too, people are not doing anything to fix this which is a big part of why this isn’t getting fixed.”
Animals’ homes should matter because they also need to live like humans. Climate change is not helping the hurricanes, and the drought is making matters worse because there is too much or insufficient water, and animals need water to live.
“We can help the animals have more water by not using so much water when we wash our hands, taking shorter showers, and not wasting water as much as we do,” eighth grader Addison Crayton Most people like to take long showers and most of the time.”
Climate change is a change in the world that can affect people and animals most animals have to deal with it more than humans because they can’t do things that humans can do. Most of the animals are out in the wild and have to fend for themsleves.
“I think that climate change affects animals because certain animals have different habitats and only hunt for food in certain weather,” seventh grader Aarilynn Lerma Mostly I think that we can help and rescue animals from danger but that means we have to put ourselves at risk.”
The animal world is important even though the world is destroying it as more and more animals are going extinct. People are making more and more animals go extinct because of humans’ decisions.
“I feel like we should as humans should not destroy the animal kingdom because if we did what would we eat and what if we kill the animal’s primary food source they would all die,” seventh grader Namarion Tuff said.
Climate change doesn’t help animals to live because animals go through things that they weren’t supposed to do like tornadoes and hurricanes and droughts and rising sea levels in extreme weather animals cannot survive stuff like that if they are protected.
“climate change is super bad because it exposes animals to unnatural disasters and puts them through things they’re not protected. droughts are a serious problem because the water is an essential of life.” said eighth-grader Jerry Acosta
