Everybody knows that April is the time for pranks and lots of fun, but some people take it to the extreme and want to find the best pranks possible to play on other people.
April Fools starts on the first of April and is celebrated all throughout the world by all the families who just want a holiday that’s all about fun. Eighth grader Bruce Harvey is one of those people who likes to just have a holiday that’s all about having fun and playing pranks.
“I think that April Fools is just a day to have fun although I don’t know how it started,” Harvey said. “I like to seran wrap the doorway of my parents bedroom so my parents run into it but, once they run into it I have to run away so my parents can’t get me back.”
Eighth grader Charles Merla loves playing “prank wars” which is where he and his friends play pranks on each other and try to pull off a better prank than the other person.
“I love playing pranks on my friends, especially to get them back for the pranks they played on me,” Merla said. “I think that the best prank to play is where you hang a balloon filled with water on the ceiling or somewhere high and then shoot it with a nerf gun when someone goes under it.”
Eighth grader Alaina Le likes to play pranks on her older brother especially when it comes to messing with his things.
“I think it’s really funny when I play pranks on my brother because he gets super mad,” Le said. “I love to move his stuff around in places that they shouldn’t be, I know it isn’t a very good prank but my brother only gets mad at little things.”
Eighth grader Enzo Lima is an only child but still loves to play pranks on his parents even if they get mad at him. He says that the best pranks are the ones that no one expects because people won’t think you’ll do those pranks.
“I love playing pranks on my parents even though they get mad when I prank them,” Lima said. “I think the best prank is putting seran wrap on the bathroom door frame so when my parents try to go to the bathroom they will run into the wrap and get mad.”
Samith Balan is an 8th grader that is all about pranking and he has to make them the best pranks ever. He thinks the best pranks that you can play are the ones that make giant messes.
“If you don’t make your pranks the best then no one will remember the pranks that you do,” Samith said. “The best prank to play is where you put a balloon filled with pant in the way of a door then you put a bunch of feathers in front of a fan and then once the paint gets on the person you turn the fan on to cover the person in feathers.”
