Chili’s Grill & Bar went from an at-home restaurant to a famous American restaurant. This popular restaurant is one of Stone Hill’s food places. This Chili’s is located at 18901 Limestone Commercial Dr, Pflugerville, TX 78660. This restaurant has so many different things to pick from, they have desserts, burgers, chicken, fish, fajitas, baby-back ribs, and margaritas fresh for your mom.
When you first come to Chili’s, you see a green and red pattern across the building, demonstrating the chili’s color. Inside you will find the bar in the back where you can eat and also get drinks. I went with my family after my band concert. It wasn’t busy, and we got seated immediately.
The waiter was helpful with getting my whole family at a table. But the waiter said where we sat there was a ceiling problem and she sat us at a better table.
At Chili’s I got the 4 piece chicken crispers with honey mustard, and so did my uncle, my mom got a medium-well steak with broccoli, and my grandad got a medium steak with french fries. We asked the waiter to bring chips and salsa out and we never got it, which made my uncle mad. After we got our food we asked them again about it and they said they would bring it out but they still didn’t. But we didn’t get charged.
My mom’s enchilada soup came first, which was a part of the “3 for Me” that she got, and then the rest of the food came out, which was okay. My broccoli was unseasoned and cold, so was my mom’s. The chicken and the fries were warm. The one thing that made me mad was that she took 15 minutes to give me my honey mustard, and refill of my drink. It was a school night and I needed to get home and I didn’t have enough time to finish my chicken with my honey mustard.
The chicken crispers crunchy golden batter was absolutely delicious, and when it came out with all the other food It smelled so fresh and looked like one of the best pieces of chicken I’ve had. My fries were seasoned perfectly and didn’t even need sauce which is a good thing for me but their honey mustard was so good.
The fries were golden and smelled like something I would get out of an actual good restaurant, I wouldn’t say Chilli’s is a good restaurant. But the fries were crispy and good. The broccoli was okay. It was cold and unseasoned and unsatisfying, I had to season it with the salt and pepper at my table. My mom said her steak was perfectly seasoned and was cooked just the way she wanted it. Her steak was juicy and giant. My mom said her soup was creamy and cheesy, the cheesiness, juicy chicken with crunchy chips on top was the best combination for her.
My overall review of Chili’s is a solid 6 out of 10. My mom’s rating was a 3 out of 10 just because her broccoli was the coldest broccoli she’s ever been served, It looked like it was frozen.
